San Francisco 49ers Faithful

Our good friends, Jeanette and Brian, are season ticket holders for the 49ers. We have been to several games. Now that I have a new camera I decided to take some pictures while we were at the game.

The first game we went to was 49ers vs. Patriots. It was also Steve Young's retirement.

Aidan's Field Trip to the Library

Aidan's first preschool field trip was to the library. The librarian came in a read to the kids and sang songs. He had a blast. We got a library card and checked out a book.

Reno Trip

Allan and I ran away for a weekend trip to Reno. It had been a year since we had a weekend away. The last weekend away was for Lisa and Craig's wedding. We (I) needed a weekend away. We stayed at the Grand Sierra Resort Casino. The room was beautiful.





While we were waiting for our car, Allan picked up a copy of the Reno News and Review to see what was happening around the town. We drove around Reno. We walked to strip. The Air Show was going on so we drove around the airfield to catch of few glimpse of the airplanes.







The casino had a 24hour bowling alley. Of course we bowled. Allan bowled his best game ever, 247.







On our way home we had to stop at Cabela's. I don't recall even seeing that much camouflage.











After Cabela's we headed home. On the way home we drove past Donner Lake. I asked Allan to stop. I wanted to take some pictures. The lake was beautiful.

Aidan's First Day of Preschool

I can't believe it. Aidan started preschool today. I was so proud of him. Yes, mom got emotional. I didn't cry but my eyes did get watery. Here are the traditional first day of school pictures.

River Cats Game

Dad's work invited the employee's and families to a River Cats game. The River Cats are a triple A baseball team in Sacramento. Aidan enjoyed the game. He had a hot dog, lemonade and peanuts. He had a fun time breaking open the peanuts.
