This first night for dinner we went to Goofy's Kitchen. It was a buffet style restuarant. Rub elbows with Goofy and his pals at this winningly whimsical buffet with many inventive culinary surprises. Plenty of great choices for kids of all ages, including Mickey Mouse shaped waffles, Peanut butter & jelly pizza, Goofy's Hot Chocolate Cake, Fruit yogurt and yummy toppings. Aidan had peanut butter pizza. The characters come to the table for pictures and autographs. Aidan had a great time.

Santa was visiting Disneyland while we were there. Aidan had to remind Santa that he wanted a bike and a basketball hoop. Then Santa told Caitlin to sit down to take a picture.

~ Day 2 ~

While walking on Main Street, Caitlin spotted Bert from Mary Poppins. Then she ran into Cruella De Vil.

Allan, Dylan and Aidan made a stop at the Disneyland Fire Department.

~ Dumbo the Flying Elephant ~
Join the famous elephant with the oversized ears and his steadfast pal, Timothy Mouse, as they take you for a flight over Fantasyland. Just push the lever to control how high you’d like to fly.

A tradition in our family is to have the youngest child ride with Nana on Dumbo. So, Aidan and Cyndi went on Dumbo together. Aidan wanted to go up high and Nana wanted to stay down low.

~ Mad Hatter ~
A trip to Disneyland is just not complete without getting your own mouse ears or one of the other crazy Character caps, hats or visors from this popular Fantasyland shop. Have your name embroidered inside to mark a memory-in-the-making, and wear your identity on your head!
Aidan's Aunt Jess gave him a gift card for him to buy his first set of mouse ears.

Emperor Zurg's or Buzz Lightyear

~ Big Thunder Ranch ~
Big Thunder Ranch hosted Santa's Reindeer Round-Up.

Round up your posse and bring 'em down to Big Thunder for a face-to-face meet and greet with Sheriff Woody, the star of Toy Story 2. You're likely to run into Jessie, the Yodeling Cowgirl.

~ Splash Mountain ~
Plenty of sunshine headed your way -- plenty of water, too, thanks to the five-story plunge from the Laughin' Place to the Briar Patch. Ride a hollowed-out log on its watery winding way through the mountain. Be entertained by the antics of characters from Disney's "Song of the South". Plummet 52 feet into a backwoods bayou bash!

Winnie the Pooh and some of his pals from their beloved Hundred Acre Woods would love to meet you. Take a picture with Winnie the Pooh near a scenic babbling brook. Pooh's friends Eeyore and Tigger are likely to show up.

~ Haunted Mansion ~
Jack Skellington and his not-so-frightful friends from "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" have given the Haunted Mansion and its grounds an ex-SCREAM makeover! Awe at the macabre merriment of the Haunted Mansion's ghostly exterior. Scream with spirit as giddy ghosts make unique Christmas trees in the snow-covered graveyard. Tremble with delight as you ride through Jack's redecorated Haunted Mansion. Shriek with fun abandon as Oogie Boogie himself makes a special appearance.

Auntie Jess came to spend the afternoon with us at Disneyland. She brought her niece, Malia.

~ Sailing Ship Columbia ~
Step back in time on this majestic beauty. This ten-gun, three-masted, 84 foot tall vessel is a full-scale replica of the first American ship to sail around the world. Once you're on deck, step below to the nautical museum. Get a glimpse of what life was like for the 1787 crew.

Allan, Dylan, Aidan, Malia, Jess and I were waiting in line for Dumbo again.

Now we have the silly boys trying to fit in Dumbo for a picture.

What a way to end a long day at Disneyland.
